It is surrounded by granite setts and polished burlington blue slate that is engraved with an inspiring poem to think on, as the amazing view of lake windermere and the Langdale hills is taken in. At night the globe is up-lit, bringing it to life in the dark nights and creating an amazing focal point in the garden.
