Cumbrian Riverside House

We have recently started working on a river side house near Kendal in Cumbria. The house is in a stunning location and very enjoyable, but challenging to work at. We find ourselves dodging the weather. The silt nets have been put in place following requirements, but I cant help feeling uneasy as the rain pours down leaving the river height just milimeters from the silt nets. All is going well however and this week we are enjoying the scorching hot sun and remembering the suncream on the workers noses.

The foundations have been laid and the block walls are taking shape while others in the team are working higher up to put down the paving. Stage by stage the garden is coming along nicely.
