We will be carrying out flood defence work on the river Kent as it runs through Burneside, near Kendal, Cumbria. This is work for a commercial business to protect it from future flooding during high rainfall, as last years floods caused major damage. We are working from engineering specifications drawn up by R G Parkins in Kendal and are liasing with the Environment Agency.

We are also working on quotes and specifications for creating a car park at a hotel in Windermere, Cumbria. This will involve excavation work, retaining walls, rendering and tarmacing to create more off-road parking for guests.
