Exciting Times for Garden Design in Cumbria

Well, very soon we will be saying a very sad goodbye to our friends at Ford Park Community Group. Most of our work here is now done and we will very shortly be handing over the work to the fantastic group of volunteers who will be maintaining the park for the future. We have almost completed the walled garden and pathway and the extremely grand entranceway. It is all exciting stuff and we cannot wait to get the pictures up on our website to show to all !!

We are very pleased to have been asked to design some new projects in the South Lakes which enables us to use a wide variety of skills and really let our design team run free ! We are creating some mid sized gardens with town houses in Kendal and Ulverston and we have a large project in Broughton in Furness for a long standing customer who we have worked for, for over five years. The town gardens will have a mix of beautiful paved walkways and stunning wooden pergolas, we will be creating new lawn areas and amazing water features alongside these we will be doing some magnificent planting to get our clients gardens to match the brief which we where given.

The site at Broughton is a great favourite of ours and we will be carrying out dry stone walling and creating a magnificent set of stone steps. Talking of dry stone walling - as we always try to take advantage of any training opportunities we sent two of our guys on an advanced dry stone walling course here in Cumbria. The guys had a great day adding more skills to their already considerable knowledge in this area and this will enable them to make assessments and help us to maintain our very high standards for our ever increasing client list.
